    Myself & my friend muz Iskander lived in telok blangah in the 80s, mount Faber & the cut valley that forms the the other small hill( alkaf mansion & a Buddhist temple) & the mount faber were our exploring places, we have discovered underground tunnels that fills with knee deep water that goes all the way to Alexander road… the air borne training camp… depot road old ammo dump build by the British, now occupied by mindef ns Call up or intake place…. I love my old Singapore, where we build tree house in mount faber, rear fall baby bird which was abandon by its “mum” because any attempts made by us to return the chick was futile because there were others & both parents do indeed strike, we know it’s a myna because we knew the ordeal, at first the mum was in the ground with its chick but the moment it spotted us, it flew & the fallen chick was also alive… I reared the chick, & it grew into an adult with months.. my dad, told me not to cut its wing but allow it to be free, it never left us & my mum was so fond of it because it can indeed mimic some words… it was with us for a 5 years… sometimes coming every day, then a few days, then months… Finally, we by then moved to tampines as an upgrade… what a joke… I lost my world… & my childhood… if I ever come back to Singapore, I will definitely live in telok blangah heights or crescent, the point blocks facing mount faber, what a view & fresh morning air… people don’t understand the importance of fresh air at night when sleeping… which telok blangah has plenty…. I am sure all flats still has 50s more to go & will still fetch a good price… that’s how scared those grounds are,… telok blangah crescent at the base of mount faber & radin mas primary school & mosque there were all totally for the community, I am not a Muslim but those people treated me so good, even teach me skills, in carpentry… THE Mosque rehabilitate drug users & me as a kid, go in & out without any discrimination, I even pray with then, I can still remember the azan call… good old times…

    Interesting. I came across this video coz I visited my mom in the SGH and saw the road leading to the hill top. But its access is restricted and I was curious what was on top. I searched on Google maps and there was a round structure on it but no information on what was it. I suspected it was a service reservoir to serve SGH since its on a hill, I managed to confirm it through your video. Pity we cant really see how it looks like. Also i learnt something new about something so old.....1887 Lunatic Asylum....damn cool. Its just 2yrs after my sec sch was founded.

    How they do that no forest lizard or rat/mouse who keep caring this place?

  • @anasqai
    @anasqai 6 месяцев назад

    The story of crocodiles placed at pulau Ubin and kept being fed to grow, and naturally crocodiles never from this country but to ruin adventure of exploration in forest? I imagining actual bird capturing or even spiders(heard as $10 but maybe up to $20 or more, the rarity of it and species - not tarantula), to stop such placement of crocodiles like nice, but if imagine about Japan invasion, I think it's still common sense, they don't damage immediately maybe(they don't come and beat), means if kids capturing spiders enough time to run away or even birds. But definitely this information is like creating 1st attacker to Singapore like a getaway reason "it is war soon" is why. Nicer to know stuff. Language Barrier, really like a destiny-talk in imagination maybe? To assume Japan as reading in writing sometimes, maybe they never read at all?

  • @anasqai
    @anasqai 6 месяцев назад

    Looks reality about future instead, ever felt like such because if 1 person can recruit 10,000 people to attack 1 person, imagine the armies - that area on the right is Egypt. Means if understand situation, we all want boats as an easy path(on the left). Egypt and Japanese maybe never fought before. The anticipated theory: the fighter planes on top of Egypt spark egyptians to interfere and enter Singapore to fight them. Story of Israel sending entire troop to attack Egypt, believed as to attack Soviet union at the same time. Means Israel only left their leaders, another is "Finland" and "Israel" are the same and different? Have 2 answers, they are fake of each other? Japan and Israel wears faces of each other as current story now.
